Woo hoo! I finally get to start my Parelli class on Thursday morning.
Help! My four year old gelding has decided to start kicking when things don't happen fast enough for him. ie; the stall door, the trailor door. I'm all for the non-resistence training but right now am drawing a blank as to how to get my boy to stop…

- 1st time horse owner of a Canadian gelding. I ride him English but am also starting Western. Want to learn pleasure driving also (member of EOPDS). Currently practicing Parelli Level 1 as well.

Hawk Hill said… - Good for you Jennifer. I would love to hear what Pat was like. That certainly is the advantage to having 1 horse. I spend so much time caring for all our horses I have little time to play with them. I rode Mirage last week for the first time in a few years. It felt great.

It has been a long time.
Chloé had Mirage going over jumps while she was here and she is really going well with the bitless bridle. She had been trained year ago so it was getting her going again. Chloé was working with Nimbus and has him responding well to the lines from the ground and is really comfortable standing and carrying someone's weight. She was working with him for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately she headed back to France on Monday so we will be getting another trainer to finish his trainer. She REALLY liked him.
There are a couple of local trainers that I am going to test later this summer and Rune, Dragon and Pax are on the list to head out for training or preferrably have her come in.
