Hey sweetie!

Congrats on your fabulous rides today, I bet you left the barn on Cloud 9! I'd love to ride in a barn with mirrors... I don't have mirrors where I train either, it would be incredibly helpful to see my form as I ride. I often have my lesson video taped so I can visually see where I need to improve. I'm bet your trainer was impressed with your seat... you must be a phenomenal rider. What level are you riding?

I did look up Afterace and would love a sample, thanks. Do they make it in the states? I have Flash on a lot of supplements that are also assiting in his recovery for sure; but the magnetic therapy has been the most remarkable so far in aiding his hock. He moves without pain now.. I'm sooo pleased!!!

I trained Flash again today (lightly) and he did amazingly well! Not a single unsound step.... I can't believe how fast he's healing! We had a blast! =) I'm training him 3rd level right now, he's a very fast learner and has amazing work ethic. I'm so pleased he loves dressage because it's my passion now days... It will be fun to see how far we can get as a team.

My daughter is starting to learn how to jump. Page, her horse, is such an amazing teacher for my daughter. Page was raised as a hunter jumper so it's been fun watching her teach Erika how to balance properly. It touches my heart to see her take such good care of my daughter...

BTW, what is your favorite inexpensive (used around $1,000) dressage saddle? I'm desperately in need of one and I'm having a difficult time finding one that fits both Flash & I. I'm 5'10", 134 lbs with long legs (narrow hips) and Flash is a wide, low withers, short back, straight topline horse... I've bought 4 saddles and none of them fit... ugh.... I need one with a 17.5" to 18" flap which is difficult to find. I have a few in mind... I found a Albion OC (which I love) on Barnmice but it only has 17" flaps, my trainer said I have to get a saddle with at least 17.5" flaps so she said not to the Albion... Or there's the Dover Circuit that has 17.5" flaps (not as nice as an Albion) or the Cliff Barnsby saddles have 17.5" flaps but they're hard to find... What are you thoughts? What do you ride in???

Well, I better get out and feed my horses again... I look forward to hearing from you again soon. I'm sooo grateful we've become such dear friends, I hope to meet you someday... we'd have a lot of fun for sure! :) Big Hugs! Carol

Hey cute girl! It's great to hear from you as always! How cool that you get to ride such a powerful horse tomorrow... Can you take pictures???? I'd love to see the gentle giant - Wow! 18hh!!! I haven't sat on a horse that big before, I bet he's a blast to ride; what breed is he? He sounds absolutely magnificent! :)

I'd be a little nervous too training with an Olympic trainer, that's awesome! My trainer use to work with Olympic riders too years ago. I love to sit at her house and watch her old video's and look through her photo albums of all her incredible horse and riders she worked with. She worked with great Mentors such as Michael Poulin, Robert Dover and Herbert Rehbein to name a few. Irene's a phenomenal trainer... I adore her and love her like family.

Today's lesson went amazingly well, Flash didn't take even one bad step!!!! Yeah!!!! I was sooo pleased. =0) I'm all about energy work and alternative therapy, the magnetic boot was literally an answer to my prayers. Thank you for telling me about Microcurrent treatments, I would love to learn more, it sounds like its working miracles too - do you know if it's available in the US? Have you ever used magnetic therapy before? If so, what were your experiences with it. I'm hoping Flash's hock will fuse on its own by the end of the year with the daily use of the magnetic boot. I really do feel hopeful and excited about his future, I truly believe he'll be as good as new before long... He's my best buddy and I can't stand the thought of us not working together.. so I'm extremely pleased that he's doing so well.

I'm anxious to hear about how your work goes tomorrow. How thrilling to ride such huge horses, if you're able to take pics please post them! You are one spoiled girl! LOL... BTW... how tall are you? It will be fun to see you standing next to the stallion, I bet he's one stunning boy....

Okay, now I'm writing a novel... It's late I better get to bed... I'll chat with you tomorrow... =)

Hi Anneke:
What you have to do is firstly REALLY critique your mare (confirmation, temperment, shortcomings in movement, scope, technique over fences, etc.) then you chose a stallion who CONSISTENTLY throws those shortcomings into his offspring - not just the stallion you like. It usually takes me a year to research offspring of stallions before I ever make a decision on who to breed to.
Best regards as usual!
Debbie

Hi Anneke,
Program Your Position isn't a book. It's a set of 3 Cds and 5 Dvds. You can check out what's on them at: http://www.janesavoie.com/positionlanding/

Thanks,
Jane
