I liked the video to explain the effects/symptoms of tilting, how to see the tilt from the saddle, and why it happens, but I found lt the explaination on how to fix tilting was limited. I wish she could have gone into more specifics of what the rider should do (or not do) when the horse starts to tilt.

An informative vid, but viewers should note that if a horse is tilting while on a loose rein, the poll is likely out (i.e. the first cervical vertebrae is misaligned).

As Belinda notes, the tilting, resulting in the misalignment, is caused by stiffness on one side. I believe, in the example she describes, the vertebrae would have the tendency to rotate slightly counterclockwise and forward. In such cases, there might also be a related misalignment in the hind end and a chiropractic adjustment would help.

If the horse gets chiropractic work, Belinda's tips on flexion should be closely followed in order to help the horse maintain the adjustment.

BTW, Patricia, I'm saving up for an ECOGOLD pad.
