This past weekend I went to the ADA Fall Fiesta with my horse Chance and my trainer Teri Patton-Rich's horse Wynsum. She's selling him so she thought it would be good for me to show him so she could market him as a Junior horse. I'm trying to qualify for both the 2010 North American Junior Young Rider Championships and National Championships. Both Chance and Wynsum did really well in the FEI Junior classes and I'm so proud! We got there on Friday to set everything up. They both had good lessons and settled down after half an hour of longing! Chance went first on Saturday. He had to ride in the Equidome so he was spooky in his trot work but settled down nicely for the canter and received a 63.9%. Wynsum was very well behaved and won the class with a 68.9%! Chance and I had a bright and early ride on Sunday at 8:00 am. He redeemed himself and put in a nice steady ride for a score of 66%. I was really happy especially because that is the highest score he's ever gotten in the FEI Junior tests. Wynsum was next and had another great ride for a score of 67%. That left Chance and I with a 64.9% average for the show and Wynsum and I with a 68% average for the show. We had so much fun and now I'm ready to train over the winter for our next show! I'll go out to the barn tomorrow to unpack and give the boys a bath, but they definately get the day off. Thanks everyone for your support and kind comments!

I'm going to risk a pie in the face and say I love winter. It's 24 degrees today, the sky is clear, and I think it's going to really drop tonight. The only thing I need tonight is a comet, LOL, and it will be perfect!
