About Me:
I didn't grow up around horses, but used to thoroughly enjoy holiday camps at a place called Seamist, which is unfortunately no longer around. We used to go out for the day on the horses, riding through the national park and always had a blast.

At the moment, I have a horse on lease, who is an Appy x QH and we're getting out and about now, at ARC comps - my boy takes good care of me!

We also head over to South Australia each year and ride at Geoff & Kate Pannell's place, Lanyon, which is great - fantastic horses and excellent instruction.

Hi Laine, Two thirds at the Royal!! They gave us two comps this year, we missed out in the overall prize by one point!!!!! Glad you had a good x-country run, sounds like he was being a shit the rest of the time though. Everyone is well here, have the first of the spring season this weekend, Monarto HT , going up a grade to prelim, should be fun.

Well ,that is exicting!!! I'm sure you will remember the course, so don't worry about it. Not much news here at the moment, we have a girl from QLD , Sarah, here for 8 weeks to do some intensive training. She is going to her first event this weekend , Grand Cru HT. So I'm going to coach her at that on sunday.Have a computer guru coming on friday to show me how to do the video thing, so keep an eye out for some pics on the site. Cheers Geoff

Hi Lainie. I suppose we will just have to get on without you in APRIL !! We went to Reynella HT last weekend, Kate was 3rd and I was 6th after the dressage. Both clear SJ rounds, fell apart on x-country. Kate fell off!! Poorly placed jumpjudges, they were sitting strait behind the fence and then stood up as she came to jump, of course Bundy shyed. I had a runout at a skinny coming out of the water, and he had a big look at the scary judge goblins, so had a stop at that too. Were both happy with the horses, pissed off at the judges. Dont have another til May, Kirkcaldy Park HT. Can't work out how to get video out of the camera and onto the site ? will ask someone Cheers Geoff

Hi Lainie, Very glad too hear you and your horses are fine. We are starting to smell your smoke now too. Yes , very sad about Sadie, but see did go quick. Her and Dusty are having a bit of a snuggle now and for ever. Everyone here is fine , the horses are all fit, we went to a freshmans SJ day Sunday . That was fun , Kate jumped Bundy in the 1.05 class and went very well . I crashed and burned! Rode like a sack of poop! I hope Itchy forgives me. Cheers Geoffery
