Thanks for your kind words, Linda! I have found that the best way to spread the word about our community is via the Internet and email invitations where people can click directly on our link. I do notice that our members often link our blogs , videos, etc. to posts they place on bulletin boards and we seem to get many members that way as well.
Thanks for your suggestion though - I will consider that for the New Year! :)

Welcome Linda, so glad you found us!!

Profile Information

About Me:
I am still an equestrian and horse owner after 55 years, but I no longer compete. I came up through the pony club ranks in MD with the opportunity to fox hunt with a major hunt, compete in three national rallies, show hunter - jumper at the recognized and local level over a span of 25 years. I was subjecting my appy mare to dressage until the spinal injuries stopped that effort. I'm now in two thoroughbred partnerships, one a breeding endeavor, and one a racing partnership. I stable my mare at home with one boarder, and now ride for pleasure.

the cross rein method would probably be when you're using split reins and the would cross over the withers. A rein would be attached to the bit, run along side the neck and the come over the withers.
