I just took my favourite horse to his (and my) first Hunter/Jumper show. He's an amazing horse, and I love him so much, but he has a habit of being scared of so many things! So I was nervous about how he would react to the brush and fake branches ...

Hi Leah! I am very new to this (blogging? commenting? leaving messages?) in fact I almost fell over with shock when I saw my selected piccy had been successfully up-loaded from my pc!! The photograph is a 12 hour old foal, Acorn (Agincourt), born 27th May 2009. I will try to post updated photos - he gets cuter by the day!! His yearling half-brother, Apple (Apollinaire), quite a big boy now - real Captain Sensible. Hope you get this message - I will update my profile - first time I've "joined" any internet group and was very cagey about what info I put - what if someone steals Acorn???? Joke. For the record - I'm bit older than you judging by your photos - in my 40's but still addicted to horses. It's not a phase I'm going through. Hopefully, we will speak again. Did you join Barnmice through William Micklem's website/blog. That's how I got involved - he is fascinating. Jo xx

Thank You Jennifer You are correct the stress is overwhelming. Some people just have no consideration for others at this time of year. Life is cruel sometimes we just take it one day at a time.
