That's quite disturbing!! I don't really understand why prisons have "SPORTING EVENTS" anyway. It's appalling what they did to that horse with the two broken legs!! Surely that is a criminal offence!! Was anyone prosecuted ?

No I don't know the farrier, but then my horse is barefoot so I don't have much to do with farriers. I have a barefoot trimmer who comes to do him. Since it's so rural round here there are lots of horsey folk. I am not into competing but there are lots of riding clubs and the showjumping crowd are quite active.

I always thought they were simliar. Maybe the equitation is just bases on you, and the medal is has both you and the horse judged in it more. Or maybe there was simply other people who had a better round?
