I've been doing half halting w/ my speedy OTTB for about a year (as long as I've had him) he's still adapting but doing amazingly well and I can see a muscle improvement in his body too! :)
My bay below...he's 8 and I've just had him a year! Love love, he's an OTTB and doing quite well in his new role as a pleasure horse. :)

- Give it a try! It can be a lot of fun. It takes some work at first to get your timing and treat delivery right. Sharon Foley's book Getting to Yes is very helpful. Alexandra Kurland also has some great books and DVDs. You can rent the DVDs through Horseflix.com. Good luck!
