I don't have a horse now, unfortunately. The writing takes up so much time right now (and the marketing, publicity, etc.). You're clearly much better at time management than I am!

I hear you met Oprah! Is she just as stunning in person? Were you terribly nervous?

Hi Kim,

I'm a good friend of Barb Fogler's too - as well as being a writer. I found balancing riding and writing to be tough, though I do play hookie sometimes with Barb and sneak off to ride Donny.

About Me:
I began riding at the age of three at Sunnybrook in downtown Toronto. I competed in my teens and early twenties in dressage, showing Prix St. George and Young Riders under the tutelage of Cindy and Neil Ishoy.

I left the competitive arena to pursue a career as a writer and took up the sport in 2003 when I bought a Hannoverian filly by Rotspon. She's now 6 and I also have a 9 year old Oldenburg gelding who I show 3rd level.

Davenport will be fine, though brollies aren't his fave thing in the world either.

I'm not looking forward to riding in a downpour. I had been obsessing about how to make my hair neat under my top hat since my bob. Now it won't matter as… Continue

the cross rein method would probably be when you're using split reins and the would cross over the withers. A rein would be attached to the bit, run along side the neck and the come over the withers.

So like - who does your grooming? Your coats look so much better than ours, shaggy and woolly just doesn't cut it!

Hi Sherry- what a great idea - where do you get the band? Also a good suggestion by Rose - I have a whistle - where is it? In my locker of course!! Not much good there.
