I have several students working with ex-racing pacers. The canter comes so very easily for some, yet is much harder for others. I have found , over the years, that slow & steady to change the musculature is best. Longing on sidereins is crucial to e…

I am applauding you [ clapping madly ] , for training Dressage with your STB. We have a race track here, and STB's are everywhere, yet most people think they are only good for trail horses. They ARE awesome as trail horses, but most of them have a g…

Hi,
Was home last week - a work related trip. Myself and mom dropped in o see if you might be around...but we missed you. Maddie looks great. I hear you are getting some new stable landlords....I hope this does not mean you have to move. Also noticed a nice new home / barn on the main road ..would this be Mary's place. BTW did she find a horse?

Hi Donna. Great to see you are still riding. Where is that arena in your pics at? I think I'm going to start a group for NL riders and NL rider alumni like myself LOL. That would be fun to see what everyone is up to.

Hi Donna,
I read your comment at Baroque Horses and am interested to learn more about the Don Marco offspring. Would your friend mind if I inquired? I have a Don Marco mare, Festiva, age 12. Am interested to see a photo of the gelding.

Hey, Donna How are things. Where do you keep your horse? I hear many of the stables over there are closing up. Great to hear from you. My guy is Trakehner/TB cross. Can be a bit of a spoof at times but a great mover and a good boy. We bought a big property and lots of work getting it together so he's been off this year. Can't wait to get back at it this summer.

Hey Donna Humber ....how are you ? Quess the weather at home is improving. How has your girl been doing over the winter months.
I am still workin away at the basics with Florina . Thank-god for my coach she has been doing some long reining in Canter with her to help with the canter. The connection is getting better and she is not so far behind the leg but some days its been real challenging! Send me an update!
