Today, I challenged myself, by challenging a young rider to "live" with her fears, to really feel them. And then, to move beyond them and take on one of life's ultimate challenges: Doing things even when we're scared! It was not easy and took patie…

About Me:
A rider since the age of 8 who has recently returned to my true passion - horses - after almost a decade hiatus. YAY! I am now using the deep-seeded knowledge of equitation and horsemanship that I acquired as a child and young adult, to train new riders in English Equitation...Now I can combine my years of teaching experience, (not teaching riding) with many years in the saddle as a young girl...and add to that a lot of recent "studying-up" via books, blogs and even videos, plus tons of recent no stirrup work...I am back!...and better than before! I am loving it! Loving the horses, the smell of the barn, and all the info, (both newly imparted and dug-up from the dusty corners of my brain). I now have a handful of students from 5 years old to 65, and I am getting great responses from students and parents! It's really supportive to find such a knowledgeable and energized, online, "horsey community"...especially one with such expert members as Jane Savoie. Such a wealth of knowledge! I discovered Jane recently through youtube and am a big fan. Hope to make it to one of her clinics one day. Thanks!
