why don't you post this comment to the blog (it helps keep the blog in the highlighted list for one, and for two, I'm sure there are many people out there who had to stop riding for similar reasons and have similar questions, so the answers would be helpful to many). I think you need to post yourself, and since you commented to me privately, I didn't want to take your private story and put it up there. However, as said above, I would be happy to respond to your question in my blog entry next week. Becuase this is a visual media, if you have a photo of yourself from your riding days that you could also post, I think readers would like that, and it would make the exchange more personal. What would also help my comments would be to know what discipline you rode/what you want to do, and what you worked on or were challenged by or were aiming at when you were riding, and additional challenges the accident might be causing you. I am not a physiotherapist, but as a personal trainer I can indeed give you some suggestions (which of course is always good if you check with your doctor or physio).

- Just thought I would say "Hi" and welcome. Thought we should put each other on ou friend list, it is much easier that searching through all the members. Hope you are having a good New Year. It is a blizzard here. The plows came this morning and the drifts from my house to the barn are already over 4ft... It is not a short walk and mostly downhill...which is okay for going to the barn; but not so much fun for coming back!..
