I think some of the riders in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan, will be happy to read this too! They've had some of those days too, and not an anticipated "dressage" ride. Personally, I've had rides like that too...but never put such good words together t...

Wow Charmaine! You must be so proud of your accomplishments. How exciting and what a wonderful feeling it must be that your offspring do so well. You are very fortunate to be able to do what you do, and good at it! I can't imagine the costs, but we do anything for our horses! The same, it is really nice to meet another TK supporter. I would love to see more of your horses. You can e-mail at tanya.ghingold@gmail.com.

Thanks, I laugh too everytime I see his bug armor suit on in the summer, but I can't let him know I'm laughing at him! Yes, I sure do wish we still had Donaufurst, but he is living a pretty good life in Florida with Erin. I hopped onto your website and your stallions are beautiful, super bloodlines to boot. I didn't see your mares though. Do you have pictures of them? I also saw that you use Oxford. He is about 5 min from the stable where I am. He is a well behaved stallion from what I have seen on the show grounds. Have you decided on which stallions you will be breeding to this year? I am only asking because I am very interested in breeding, and have always wanted to know what it is that breeders look for to make the right 'cocktail' and get the results in their offspring they desire.
Aren't schoolmasters great.... so forgiving. I was training 4th lvl. but with my current mount, we are at 1st lvl. He just turned 5 (and as you know some TK's are slow maturing) and at 17.3h, I didn't want to push him too much, but will start the show season this year.

In the last few years, the horse quality improved here in Canada and USA.
If you have a good stallion prospect, it is important that he is trained to a certain level before going to present him to the Verband. I had 2 prospects that I sold to Jennifer Mosier in Kansas. But it was her, that did the necessary work ......and they both were aprouved with the Oldenburg Verband.

So true April....having an indoor would really solve a lot of riding problems for me too. I just have to be content with what I have until a time comes when possibly an indoor is in the works. With a hubby that doesn't agree with spending on these...
