Aww, thanks!
Pandas are the best!
Aside from horses, of course.

Where did you learn to paint, by the way?
Your Pop Art Pups are hilariously adorable.

You are welcome.
I simply had to be Barnmice friends with someone whose art is as wonderful as yours.

Do you have a website or anything?

Hi, Catherine, I am not sure where we are in that discussion on your horse that threw you a few times already.. I think it is important when an amateur - especially someone over 40 or so, has had a few falls from a horse, that they get a Professional..not a pony clubber.. to come over and review the horse's behavior. If the fall was from you having a loose seat when the horse was quick or fresh, that can be fixed easily by lunging first and then having the horse ridden for a time by a good rider, even a high level pony clubber. If the horse has a buck, a rear, is a bolter or has other serious behavior problems..the Professional will recognize that..and be able to proceed in a way that will fix it, or advise you to sell the horse right away to protect you and the horse from further damage. Allot of especially younger horses, learn dangerous behavior from being handled by amateurs that are not experienced and solid enough in their seat and hands to keep a spirited or smart or sensitive horse obedient, and they get afraid or intimidated bit by bit till the horse "has their number" and things go more awry or gets put up. The horse learns to use this behavior to get time off and before you know it, it can get dangerous, when someone tries to push the horse through that behavior. The horse is convinced by now he can win, has no respect for humans, and so will KEEP FIGHTING - as in get progressively more dangerous - till he does, or is backed down finally by a professional that can out-think him and stay on no matter what. This is NOT a job for an amateur or pony clubber. Dangerous horses can be any horse that is allowed to know it's own strength or intimidate it's rider long enough to resort to that behavior anytime pressure is on.. any time. These horses unfortunately can often never be trusted again, as they can use this behavior after a long time of being good if someone relaxes too much around them and they decide they'd rather not.. I am not saying they can't be used, but only by a real pro..and so if they don't have the talent and breeding to be desirable for one, they usually end up in auctions eventually. Despite what some well meaning rescue types think..there are dangerous horses out there, not because they are evil or not worthy of life..but because they have been misused or never started properly and have learned dangerous behavior. Just like with humans, or dogs, this can rarely have a good end. Don't teach your horse to be bad...get a pro to straighten him out right away, so he'll forget his antics and be a ridable mount for anyone.. if not his prospects in life will be limited.
