- Hello :) Im Beth, im 14 and have a great horse called Gem. I got Gem in February this year and am a member of the Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club. Gem is a 15'2 tobiano mare. This season i have started eventing Gem at Pony Club Novice level(the same as BE intro, about 3'). As neither of us had evented before it was a bit of a learning curve, but Gem has always tried her best and we have improved, especially at the dressage and xc. We represented our Pony Club at the area horse trials, where for the first time all season we were placed and qualified for the nationals! The nationals were a bit of a disaster but we are all set to try and qualify again next year! We also do showjumping, local shows and all PC rallies.
