I have used "Rescue Remedy" occasionally for my shaken confidence. It is all natural, no side effects, and can be found in most drug stores. I find it takes the 'edge' off and I am not 'looking for the spooky thing'. Becky

Hi, Becky: My experiences with treeless saddles is pretty much that when you most need to depend on them they don't do the job. They slide around and aren't very stable, and if you've tried wearing shoes that fit like that you know how irritating...

With some treeless saddles you have to be careful when you mount as it will not support your weight. Other times the conformation of your horse will affect the stability of your treeless saddle. Treeless saddles do best with a horse with a decent ...

Hello again Becky, you asked me to let you know if there was going to be any more clinics...we did contract a 2 Star Parelli instructor to come live at the ranch for the summer. She will be here from the end of June until September. She will be available for those 3 months here in Princeton. We would love to have you and your horse as our guest, if you are so inclined. If you like you can check out ranch photos on my profile. Always enjoy meeting like minded horsepeople. If this fits into your schedule and you would like to further your communications skills with your horse, please let us know and we can certainly set some time up for you. After 40 years with horses, I can truly say that I am learning more now than ever before, and it is making a great impression on my horse. Nice chatting with you.

Hi again Becky, just for your info, we are in the midst of arranging for a 2 Star Parelli instructor to stay at our ranch from the end of June until sometime in September. I will keep you posted in case you are in a position to take advantage of this opportunity. I certainly don't want to bother you with this unless you are interested. I just noticed that you commented you would like to take more natural horsemanship clinics and were willing to travel. This facility is unbelievable!!! I have been working with horses all my life and rarely see a place like this.
Regards,
Cheryl

Hi Becky, have listed our 4 day Parelli clinic under the events section on this site. See for more info. It will run from August 14-17, 2009. If you are interested in going to the next level with your horse, this is the event for you. Fawn Anderson is a 3 star Parelli instructor, see her site at pnhclinics@yahoo.com The facility here at Dayspring Ranch is second to none for humans and horses. We would love to have you as our guest! It is about a 3 hour drive from Vancouver to the ranch. Let us know if you are interested as there are only 8 available spots. We will be covering Level 1 and 2. (Contact details are on Fawn's website and under events here.
Cheers,
Cheryl

Thank you, he is truly a very special boy. He is an old soul to me and I have been 'given him' to enjoy. I have had him since he was a weanling, bought him the week before he was to make 'the trip'. So utterly and completely glad I did.
Your horse looks lovely too, nice bone and a sweet face.

Hi Becky, just saw your comment under Parelli horsemanship. Since you are so close to Princeton, I thought you may be interested in attending a clinic at the ranch (please see my comment). Anyways, I will update in the near future as to dates/costs etc. The facility is unbelievable. Really nice setup for horses and humans...
I am also in my mid-late 40's but have been with horses all my life and there is still so much to learn. But what fun!!!
Happy Spring.
