About Me:
I have a TB gelding, 17 hh we call him Big Rig because he's built like an 18 wheeler. He's my guardian angel. We currently event at the Beginner Novice levek, but shhh he thinks its prelim! We compete in Texas, I hate the heat but love the people. I board at Retama Equestrian Center in Selma. Umm...I read the Indianna Jones books to him and he absolutely loves them!! He also enjoys the spirit soundtrack as well as nickelback.

A close contact saddle is the best. You can only use a martingal in the over fences classes(o/f). Your tack should be clean and most likely leather. The same color for all is best!! Brading depends on the tpye of show. A bigger show like "B"-"AAA" do require brading. A schooling show does not need it. Your horse's mane should be pulled or shortened. It is good to have the mane entirely on the right side as well.

Your horse's head needs to be low and relaxed. You can have contact, but not a lot. Idk how to put this: The judge should want to ride your horse. Your horse should have a relaxed pace, but comfortly fit the strides in. You will need black gloves. a show shirt and hunt coat are apporiate. Tall boats and tan breechs. A Charles Owen is the style now, but any black/gray/brown velet helment is good:)

Sonny is my horse, well I do share him with my sister. We have trained from the start and are looking for a new project horse. The black and gray ponies are my trainers.
