I agree, get the saddle professionaly fitted, also with my horses, I get a chiro out at least 2 - 3 times per year. My TB jumper had a vertibra out which was causing him back problems, after the chiro was out, I did a liniment rub and he was fine ...

How about just a ThinLine Pad or a combo ThinLine with Back on Track called the Contender II. No drugs just great protection. Will help saddles fit and will keep their backs sound.

What height would you do in pony jumpers? My friend owns a 12.0 pony ( buck, black pony in one of my pic.) He is a champion 2'6" jumper. He will jump anything. He could do 3' jumpers and be amazing but we want to avoid injury.

C and Local are pretty much the same and B's, the classes are usually a little bigger at a B show. Until you get to AA shows, where the competition is extremely tough, there's not much difference.

slc2 replied to Linda White's discussion 'Colic' in the group Over 50 crowd
Well, I feel that every colic is different. Ask your vet for suggestions as to why the colic occured (one doesn't always know), and don't worry too much about big pieces of carrot causing colic; it is unusual for that to even be a factor. I don't ...
