Hi Everyone

After having minis for the past 4 years, I just got my first big horse in a long long time, a 3 year old Thoroughbred named Barrick! He's an absolute sweetheart. Just thought I'd introduce he and I ;)

Kristen, when my horse rolled around in her stall I would put a shipping wrap made for the hock on that just velcros on. It worked very well and was pretty comfortable for the horse.

Can anyone recommend a good protective hock boot?
Not a magnetic one..and the neoprene ones get ripped up. I need them for my boy who loves to roll around and cuts up his hocks, to protect them...
Thx :)

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows any websites where i can enter in the tattoo number and it will show me atleast the name of the horse.
We have a thoroughbred we adopted, well we think she's a thoroughbred, she has pin firing and a tattoo on the inside of her upper lip, but some people said she looks like a standardbred. Anyways we would like to see if there's anyway we can figure out her registered name and pedigree through her tattoo.

My very old pony colicked about 2 years ago. While he seemed to be just fine, I have always kept a close eye on him. Because of his age, I give him 'soup' for his meal and I do add oil. Every horse is different of course and while one may only col...
