Friday November 27, 2010 - Join us for an evening of fun!!

Everyone is invited to help us kick off the OEF Annual Conference at the FREE Friday Night Opening Bash. Visit the Trade Show, have some refreshments, network with fellow horse people and win some great prizes!

In addition, you are invited to participate in the FREE Ask An Expert Event! Participants will have the opportunity to have one on one time with a variety of horse experts from diverse backgrounds to get advice on their riding and tips on their horses, but there is a catch! Using the "speed dating" format, participants will only have three minutes with each expert to get answers to questions! Experts include Josh Lyons and Dr. Marvin Beeman!!

The Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) and Agribrands Purina are pleased to announce that show jumping sensations, Amy and Jonathon Millar, will be meeting fans and signing autographs during the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at the OEF booth located in Spirit of the Horse.

Amy will be signing autographs on Tues Nov.10 - 5pm to 6pm
Jonathon will be signing autographs on Thurs Nov. 12 - 6pm to 7pm

KingRidge Stables in King, ON is looking for an experienced "A" Circuit show groom, who has worked with Grand Prix horses. Position available immediately.

Selection Criteria:
~ Able to work full-time, year round.
~ Experience working with grand prix show jumpers a must.
~ Willing to work in Florida from November through April and in King City, May through October.
~ Willingness and ability to work well in a team environment.

~ Must be legal to work in Canada. Completed work visa required if applying from outside Canada.

Provided:
~ Competitive wages
~ Accommodation
~ 5 and a half day work week
~ Day money when at shows

The Ontario Equestrian Federation is excited to announce the Conference Video Quiz! Follow this contest throughout the coming months and you could be the lucky winner.

A series of nine (9) video's will be posted on the OEF website throughout the coming months ,each containing a question read by a current OEF Director.

Once you have viewed the video and found the answer to the question you are then eligble to enter the contest one time per question. Answer each question correctly and this gives you 9 possible chances to win. The final draw will be taking place on November 9th, 2009.

The winner and a friend of their choice will each receive one (1) full conference registration. This is a combined value of over $500.00!

The contest has now officially kicked off, so hurry up and view the first video in the series and send in your answer!
