Hi - I just had to join this group after reading everyones story. I like many of you have had a life long love of horses. For a short time I owned my own but mostly I have had to admire from afar. It is my dream to help out at a horse stable when I retire and possibly get an Irish Poney to drive - riding probably out of the question at this point! -- Anyway - they are the most beautiful. I just took a walk down memory lane by re-reading The Black Stallion Books. What memories it brought back. Reading was my one connect to horses and I always studied them to know all I could know. I now enjoy watching them in all their different roles. Thanks for this group. Ellen

Hi Everyone! Hope ya'll had a Happy Easter! I have an 18 year old Tennessee Walker mare named Black Beauty. We used to jump, but due to arthritis we spend our days trail riding. Just thought I'd say hi as a new member! Where is everyone from? I am from Valparaiso, IN
