February's Horse of the Month is Hero!!
Hero came to CARD in the Summer of 2005. He is the tallest horse in the CARD herd standing 17hh. Hero is one of the kindest and gentlest horses around. He is loved by all who come in contact with him; staff, volunteers, and riders alike. A gentle giant to say the least. Hero has a very active movement and is well suited for psycho-education and rehabilitation classes. As well, he is very patient and a good teacher for our riders who are learning to ride independently.
