I've loved all your answers ... the bananas and Guiness and tea are quite novel and I would be curious to see how Bear responded to these things. He's quite opinionated, as anyone who knows him will tell you, but I think he'll try anything once.

I forgot to mention that Bear belongs to a "Monday Muffin Madness" club at the barn where he currently resides. Each Monday a boarder brings in a half dozen of Bear's favourite muffins and they are shared with five other equine muffin maniacs. They all know the rattle of the paper bag and where they're stashed until it's muffin time. It's quite funny. Let me share with you what this latter-day Shakespeare once wrote (last November between muffins):

O muffin sweet, o muffin sweet,
Once a week a tasty treat
Of bran and berries
Cran and blue,
What is a hungry horse to do?

A tasty snack, a tasty snack
Inside a brown and paper sack,
Why is the bag so far away?
Do bring it closer please, I pray.

I can’t resist! I can’t resist!
My deprivéd taste buds do insist.
When tender morsal meets mine lips
I do not worry ‘bout mine hips.

O muffin sweet, oh muffin sweet,
Somehow you make my life complete,
Of bran and berries
Cran and blue,
O muffin sweet, I do love you!

those little pink and white black licorice candies... he's not allowed to have very many, but when he gets one - you better not want the rest of the box, cause he's gonna get that too!

So once or twice a month the horses in the barn I used to board at get donuts. Each horse had a favorite. ONLY DD donuts, they would not eat the cheap ones. So we would go in and ask for the different donuts and then one for each of the humans. At every horse show the horses were guarenteed donuts. The donuts went as following.
Ox- Glazed
Rex- Angel Cream filled
Snake- Sprinkeled
Appie- Apple filled
And a couple Boston Creme filled for the humans :)

Robert is also a member of the Monday Muffin Madness Club and adores his Cranberry Blueberry Bran Timmies muffin. He licks his bucket for ages afterwards even though there are no 'remains'. I think his VERY favourite treat is his once yearly chocolate Birthday cake that he receives on March 31st. We sing Happy Birthday to him and he almost attacks the cake in excitement. I then cut him a lovely large slice and put it on a paper plate and everyone gathers around to see him gobble down his delicacy! He gets icing all over his lips and It's adorable to watch him lick the plate completely clean!! He always let's out this huge sigh when it's all gone. lol

My horse used to love oatmeal date cookies, would do anything to get one. Another mare of mine used to love ice tea popcicles would never bite them just suck on them. But the most bizarre pony ever loved ham sandwiches with tons of mustard.

Ham and mustard?!!! That gets my vote so far for the most unusual treat for sure.

My first horse 'Edna' once took a baloney sandwich with mustard right out of my hand and scarfed it right down! I was completely shocked to see a horse eat meat.

I used to have a mare that was known to walk beside the veranda and pinch peoples food from plates, including barbequed meat. When I was a kid, we used to ride down to the local shop to get ice creams, if my horse didn't get one she would sulk. Both my current horses love licorice. I will have try some of the ideas here.
